
Organizations interested in applying for grants from the Bernard McDonough Foundation should do so by submitting a cover letter and other materials which include:
- A description of the applicant organization and its activities.
- A brief statement of the need or problem to be addressed by the organization/project.
- A description of the project or program for which a grant is requested.
- The methodology to be used to accomplish the task.
- Proposed method for evaluating the success of the project or program.
- Amount of the grant request.
- How the project or program will be financed after the grant period.
- A list of committed and requested financial support from other sources for this project.
- Names and titles of officers and board members.
- A copy of the organization's budget, as well as a copy of the project budget, if applicable.
- Proof of tax exempt status under the appropriate provisions of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
- A copy of the organization's most recent audited financial statement or, if an audit was not conducted, the most recent financial statement.
